Hotel management graduate with over 30 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Mahindra Kumar Desai is a seasoned expert who has worked across a wide range of hotel categories, from budget to upscale and 5-star luxury properties across India. His journey began as a trainee and progressed to Vice President level, gaining expertise in various departments including F&B Production, F&B Service, Banquet Reservations, F&B Control, Banquet Sales, Front Office, HR, Finance, Housekeeping, Corporate Sales, Marketing, and General Management.
In 2011, he founded JMC® HOTELS GROUP INDIA, where he accumulated numerous awards and achievements throughout his career. He also possesses significant knowledge in hotel projects, interior design, and the pre-opening and re-opening processes, contributing to the growth and success of the hospitality industry.
In 2024, he and his partners launched DEOTEL HOTELS LLP, an upscale and full-service chain of hotels, resorts, and places, continuing his legacy of excellence and innovation in hospitality.
